Prep Tennis
• SILVERADO 15, SULTANA 3: At Victorville, the Hawks won eight of nine sets in singles to beat the Sultans in a nonleague contest.
Lester Fernandez led the way for Silverado (1-3) with his three-set sweep at No. 1 singles. Marvin Emich and Tim Lee also posted a sweep for the Hawks in doubles.
Tenis Taing and David Schreiner won two of three sets for Sultana (2-2).
