In a tournament drawing approximately 140 tennis players to compete in 21 different divisions over the weekend, Cvetkovic defeated Brian Wilson 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 to win the singles championship. He also teamed with Aaron Badart to knock off the doubles team of Joel Kielwobicz and Adrin Himmelheber, 8-2 in the Men’s Open doubles championship. In the Women’s Open singles final, Kim Ahn-Nguyen defeated Rizza Zalameda 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-5). Luana Magnani and Corine Vermuelen teamed up to beat Rizza Zalameda and Marie Zalameda, 8-6, in the Women’s Open doubles final. Joe Madoo defeated Austin Karosi in the Men’s A singles 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, and in the Men’s A doubles, Kory Moderhak and Justin Harper teamed up to defeat Tim Pieper and Kevin Porter 6-2, 7-6 (5). Cvetkovic takes two at SVLCC

SPRING VALLEY LAKE — Dejan Cvetkovic was a double winner at the DCB/CVC Labor Day tennis championships at Spring Valley Lake Country Club on Monday.

In a tournament drawing approximately 140 tennis players to compete in 21 different divisions over the weekend, Cvetkovic defeated Brian Wilson 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 to win the singles championship. He also teamed with Aaron Badart to knock off the doubles team of Joel Kielwobicz and Adrin Himmelheber, 8-2 in the Men’s Open doubles championship.
