• GRANITE HILLS 10, BURROUGHS 8: At Apple Valley, the Cougars (15-4, 6-1 Desert Sky League) captured at least a share of the DSL title while locking up the league’s top playoff seed. Gustavo Rodrigues didn't drop a game in singles, while teammate Patrick McCray swept his sets. McCray, who lost 6-1 to the Burros' Matt Krugman in the previous meeting, turned it around with a 6-1 victory over Krugman on Monday. Granite Hills' No. 1 doubles team of Mike Hom and Jared Zucker won all three sets.

• APPLE VALLEY 13, SERRANO 5:

At Phelan, the Mojave River League champions Sun Devils (8-5, 7-0 MRL) took one step closer to an undefeated league season with a victory over the Diamondbacks (10-5, 4-3 MRL). For Apple Valley, Donnie Wicks and Joshua Tompkins swept in singles. The doubles team of Dieter Nagel and Brian Pauli, who haven't lost a league set all year, continued their dominance with a sweep. Jason Roberts and Rhett Morgan won two of three doubles sets for Serrano.

SILVERADO 13, BARSTOW 5: At Victorville, the Hawks (11-2, 5-2 DSL) soundly defeated the Aztecs. The doubles team of Stephen Patch and Tim Le swept their singles sets, while Nico Combes and Ben Zagala swept in singles for Silverado.

HESPERIA 15, VICTOR VALLEY 3:

At Hesperia, the Scorpions (5-8) dominated a nonleague match. All three Hesperia doubles teams swept, including the No. 3 team of Curtis Ogilvie and Trent Brooksher. A lack of players due to eligibility issues forced Victor Valley to forfeit all three sets in its No. 1 singles spot.
